This big lovable boy is affectionately nicknamed Cubby Bear by his foster family. Lionel has changed a lot. He was found on the side of the road with two siblings and his mother, who had been killed by a car. The other kittens were easily rescued but Lionel ran off and hid in the bushes until the next day. He now adores having his tummy rubbed and will roll onto his side or back and stretch right out to receive them! Lionel&#xxxx;s favorite pastime is sitting on the back of the couch to look out the window and watch what&#xxxx;s happening in the world. He chatters at birds in the tree and has staring contests with the cat next door when she&#xxxx;s out on her harness. This guy loves the other cats in his foster home and spends lots of time walking along beside them and snuggling with his favorite girl buddy in the sunshine. Lionel is quite laid back but he does have bursts of energy where he will run up and down the hall and cat tree and will also pounce and chase toys. He is very good about having his nails trimmed and really likes to be brushed. He likes it so much that sometimes he will bump the other cats out of the way so he is the one the lands under the brush! While Lionel is independent he will often come and plop his heavy self onto an open lap and soak up the attention. He has been patiently waiting for a loving forever home for a few years now but often gets overlooked because of his black coat and timid nature with strangers. Lionel would love to meet a quiet and kind family that will give him the perfect home he deserves.
